Energy Solutions Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States, +3 more states.

📋 Description

• Explore opportunities for enhancing industrial energy efficiency through site visits and technical evaluations.

• Assess electrical systems, motor applications, and industrial processes.

• Create energy models, performance calculations, and feasibility studies.

• Design solutions that incorporate medium voltage motors, variable frequency drives (VFDs), pumps, fans, and industrial control systems.

• Assist in the preparation of technical proposals and deliver customer presentations.

• Collaborate with commercial teams to identify opportunities and turn projects into reality.

• Work alongside Project Engineering and Maintenance teams to ensure successful project execution.

• Foster long-lasting relationships with customer engineering teams and act as a reliable technical advisor.

• Offer technical assistance throughout the entire project lifecycle.

⛳️ Requirements

• A degree in Electrical Engineering is preferred, but a degree in Mechanical Engineering is also acceptable.

• Approximately 5–10+ years of experience in heavy industrial settings.

• In-depth knowledge of medium voltage motors, VFDs, pumps, fans, and rotating machinery.

• Proven experience in developing technical solutions for industrial applications.

• Familiarity with energy modeling, system performance analysis, or equipment sizing.

• Exceptional communication and presentation abilities.

• Capability to work independently in a remote setting.

• Willingness to travel throughout North America.

• Experience in heavy industries such as Oil & Gas, Mining, Metals, Cement, Water & Wastewater, or Heavy Manufacturing is preferred.

• Knowledge of industrial motor systems, VFDs, pumps, fans, or rotating equipment is a significant advantage.

• Ability to take initiative, resolve complex technical issues, respond swiftly, cultivate customer relationships, collaborate effectively, and maintain a curious and adaptable mindset.
