This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.
• Drive growth in pipeline and order volumes.
• Achieve or surpass the Annual Operating Plan (AOP) on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis.
• Develop and implement a Sales Strategy to meet AOP targets.
• Provide precise weekly forecasts for orders within the established CRM system.
• Guide and mentor sales personnel in building professional relationships with key client decision-makers.
• Establish a strong pipeline of significant pursuits, including the execution of pursuit plans.
• Identify key pursuits and accounts within the designated scope.
• Evaluate the team’s sales activities and forecasts to assess sales progress and necessary enhancements.
• Suggest and enact improvements to achieve sales objectives.
• BA/BSc degree in business or a related technical field.
• Demonstrated experience in sales leadership and management.
• Substantial experience in quota-carrying sales roles.
• In-depth knowledge of the turnkey distributed generation and renewables construction markets and their value propositions.
• Experience leading a sales team that generated over $50M in revenue.
• Proficient in C-Level selling techniques.
• Familiarity with startup environments.
• Experience with Engineer, Procure, Construct (EPC) and Energy as a Service (EaaS) procurement methodologies.
• Financial insight related to energy generation, conservation, and distribution.
• Comprehensive understanding of the energy ecosystem, including utilities, government entities, general contractors, mechanical/electrical contractors, consulting engineers, and architects.
• Capability to coach and mentor the team to develop a successful sales strategy for their accounts and opportunities.
• Proficient in outcome-based selling techniques.
• Proven ability to consistently meet or exceed the Annual Operating Plan.
• Demonstrated success in navigating a highly matrixed reporting structure.
• Skills in coaching and mentoring sales professionals.
• Strong leadership and communication abilities.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills are essential.
• Willingness to travel within Europe at least 70% of the time.
