This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.
• Prospecting and Lead Generation: You will seek out and develop potential clients through proactive outreach, cold calling, and utilizing networking opportunities. This position is focused on a HUNTING sales approach.
• Relationship Building: Foster and sustain robust relationships with clients, establishing long-term partnerships while ensuring customer satisfaction and renewals.
• Client Consultations: Engage with clients to assess their energy requirements, risk tolerance, and determine how 5 can best meet their needs.
• Continuously Learning: It is essential to remain knowledgeable about industry trends, market conditions, and competitor offerings to spot opportunities and maintain a competitive advantage.
• Sales Presentations: You will create and present persuasive sales presentations, clearly articulating the advantages of energy products and services to prospective clients, while upholding an executive-level demeanor.
• Negotiation and Closing: Expertly address client concerns and objections, aiming to close sales and meet revenue targets.
• Collaboration with Teams: Work alongside internal teams, including but not limited to operations and management, to ensure a seamless customer experience and align sales strategies with overall business objectives.
• CRM Management: Utilize Customer Relationship Management (CRM) tools to monitor leads, manage accounts, and enhance the sales process for efficiency and effectiveness. The primary CRM we employ is HubSpot.
• A minimum of 3 years of experience in the energy sector (retail gas and/or electricity, sustainability, solar, demand response, etc.) or a related field.
• Over 3 years of experience in B2B outside sales.
• Proven track record in identifying new business opportunities through prospecting, networking, and other channels.
• Ability to thrive in a highly autonomous environment while embracing a team-oriented sales process, demonstrating resilience and steadfast determination in the pursuit of success.
• Capability to collaborate effectively within a team while independently driving sales initiatives, contributing to both personal and collective achievements.

• BA/BS degree is preferred.
