
Energy Advisor β Commercial Sales

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Connecticut, +10 more states.
β’ Prospecting and Lead Generation: In this HUNTING sales role, you will identify and nurture potential clients through proactive outreach, cold calling, and capitalizing on networking opportunities.
β’ Relationship Building: Develop and sustain robust relationships with clients, aiming for long-term partnerships while ensuring their satisfaction and renewals.
β’ Client Consultations: Engage with clients to comprehend their energy requirements and risk tolerance, identifying how we can best serve them.
β’ Continuously Learning: Stay updated on industry trends, market conditions, and competitor offerings to spot opportunities and maintain a competitive advantage.
β’ Sales Presentations: Create and deliver persuasive sales presentations that effectively communicate the advantages of our energy products and services to potential clients, while upholding an executive-level demeanor.
β’ Negotiation and Closing: Address client concerns and objections skillfully, with the aim of closing sales and meeting revenue targets.
β’ Collaboration with Teams: Work alongside internal teams, including operations and management, to ensure a seamless customer experience and align sales strategies with overarching business objectives.
β’ CRM Management: Utilize Customer Relationship Management (CRM) tools, primarily HubSpot, to track leads, manage accounts, and enhance the sales process for greater efficiency and effectiveness.
β’ A minimum of 3 years of experience in the energy industry (including retail gas and/or electricity, sustainability, solar, demand response, etc.) or a comparable field.
β’ Over 3 years of experience in B2B outside sales.
β’ Proven experience in identifying new business opportunities through prospecting, networking, and various channels.
β’ Ability to thrive with a high degree of autonomy while embracing a collaborative sales process, demonstrating resilience and unwavering determination in the pursuit of success.
β’ Capability to collaborate effectively within a team while independently driving sales initiatives, contributing to both personal and shared success.
β’ Possess ambition, passion, teamwork, and grit.
β’ A BA/BS degree is preferred.
