• Cultivating and nurturing strong relationships with A&E professionals, including consultants, engineers, and specifiers.
• Educating, presenting, and providing support to the A&E community regarding HID Global solutions.
• Generating new business prospects through A&E channels and related end-user projects.
• Coordinating project-related activities, such as job meetings, proof of concepts, and collaboration across teams.
• Collaborating with internal teams and channel partners to ensure seamless client support.
• Keeping accurate records of activities, including monthly reports and tracking of the sales funnel.
• Acting as the primary point of contact between HID Global and the A&E community.
• Recognizing and influencing specification opportunities in physical access control projects.
• Assisting end users and partners with customized solutions that meet project requirements.
• Working alongside regional teams and business development specialists to guarantee consistent execution.
• Juggling multiple accounts and projects simultaneously while spearheading strategic growth initiatives.
• Advocating for customer needs and feedback within internal HID teams to drive continuous improvement.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
• At least 15 years of sales or business development experience in Physical Access Control.
• Minimum of 10 years of experience selling to the A&E community.
• Established consultative selling experience with senior decision-makers.
• Self-motivated individual capable of working independently with minimal supervision.
• Excellent collaboration and communication abilities in both team-oriented and individual selling settings.
• Proven project management skills with the capability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
• Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and commitment to follow-through.
• Eligibility to acquire or maintain ASIS membership.
• Proficient in English, both written and verbal.
• Ability to read and understand technical documentation and specifications.
• Familiarity with Salesforce or comparable CRM platforms.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Established network within the A&E and physical access control sectors.
• Experience working across North American markets.
• Knowledge of security industry standards and emerging technologies.
