EMR Analyst II – Epic Digital Platforms

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Analyze, design, implement, and maintain moderately complex systems that enhance clinical care and patient management.

• Support system testing and document the outcomes of those tests.

• Create technical solutions by utilizing development lifecycle processes, established operating procedures, and comprehensive documentation.

• Coordinate training for clinical systems and establish environments as needed.

• Develop educational technology content to further education and learning processes.

• Employ multivariate learning modalities for the education of clinical systems.

• Assume ownership of assigned tasks and communicate any issues or obstacles to supervisors.

• Identify resources for small to medium projects and facilitate project communication.

• Engage in design and leadership team meetings related to clinical applications.

• Collaborate with end users to ensure alignment of applications, training programs, and materials with patient care processes.

• Identify and promote best practices for the utilization and training of clinical systems.

• Support or lead the design, development, and implementation of application requests.

• Support or lead project planning and documentation for moderately complex projects.

• Define project scope, coordinate resources, and accomplish assigned tasks.

• Facilitate effective communication between internal and external stakeholders.

• Build relationships with customer groups and key stakeholders.

• Provide advanced troubleshooting and exceptional end-user support.

• Monitor Service Level Agreements related to incident management.

• Plan and execute training for clinical systems while creating and curating advanced educational materials.

• Advocate for change management policies and procedures.

• Exemplify timely, effective, and customer service aligned with CARES principles.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

• A minimum of 2 years of work experience in a relevant job discipline.

• In-depth understanding of Epic workflows and their integration across various clinical and operational domains.

• Current Epic certification(s) are preferred, including Epic Care Everywhere, Epic Inpatient Clinical Documentation, EpicCare Link, Epic Ambulatory, Epic Inpatient Procedure Orders, Epic Cadence, or Grand Central.

• Proficient troubleshooting skills.

• Strong sense of personal accountability.

• Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and interact with staff at all levels.
