Employee Relations Specialist

πŸ“‹ Description

β€’ Serve as a trusted advisor to managers and leaders, fostering strong, collaborative relationships throughout the organization.

β€’ Provide a proactive, commercially oriented employee relations service, offering clear guidance within employment legislation while minimizing organizational risk.

β€’ Take responsibility for employee relations cases, encompassing disciplinary actions, grievances, performance management, and investigations, ensuring fair and timely resolutions.

β€’ Conduct workplace investigations and create high-quality, evidence-based reports that include clear recommendations.

β€’ Coach and influence managers to enhance their confidence and capability in effectively addressing people-related issues.

β€’ Design and implement HR training and coaching programs tailored to organizational needs and emerging trends.

β€’ Analyze workforce and performance data to pinpoint trends (such as absence and turnover) and collaborate with specialists to formulate action plans.

β€’ Work closely with colleagues in the People team, Legal, and other internal departments to deliver cohesive and consistent people solutions.

β€’ Contribute to the ongoing enhancement of ER policies, processes, and practices, embedding best practices and promoting inclusion.


⛳️ Requirements

β€’ Demonstrated experience in a generalist HR or employee relations role within a dynamic environment.

β€’ Strong, practical understanding of UK employment law and employee relations best practices.

β€’ Confidence in managing complex and sensitive cases with professionalism, integrity, and sound judgment.

β€’ Excellent communication and influencing abilities, with the capacity to coach and engage stakeholders at all levels.

β€’ Experience in delivering HR training or workshops and modifying content to meet business needs.

β€’ Strong analytical skills, capable of interpreting data and transforming insights into actionable plans.

β€’ CIPD qualification (or in progress) or a degree in HR, business, or a related field.

β€’ A collaborative team player who is values-driven, resilient, and focused on solutions.
