This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Arizona.
• Deliver expert-level investigation, triage, and resolution of workplace issues.
• Execute objective, comprehensive, and timely investigations into complex workplace grievances.
• Conduct investigative interviews through phone, video, or face-to-face interactions.
• Generate legally defensible, highly accurate, and concise investigative summaries and reports.
• Ensure consistent application of company policies and adherence to local, state, and federal employment laws.
• Manage and multi-task within a fast-paced, high-volume queue of field cases.
• Collaborate closely with People Business Partners, Field Operations leaders, and Legal teams to identify workplace trends.
• De-escalate sensitive or volatile workplace conflicts.
• A minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in Human Resources.
• At least 3 years specifically focused on employee relations and/or workplace investigations.
• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field; or equivalent practical experience in the field.
• Demonstrated expertise in interviewing techniques, fact-finding, evidence collection, and the drafting of formal investigative reports.
• Strong foundational knowledge of federal and state employment laws (including Title VII, ADA, FMLA, and FLSA), with a focus on compliance regarding hourly wage-and-hour regulations.
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills; complete ability to maintain confidentiality and navigate challenging, high-stakes conversations.
