Employee Relations Manager – Fixed Term

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.

📋 Description

• Take charge of a high-volume and intricate caseload of workplace investigations independently.

• Act as a reliable advisor to managers, employees, PPL Partners, and Legal.

• Collaborate with stakeholders to perform comprehensive and unbiased investigations.

• Interpret and enforce corporate policies, employment laws, and regulations.

• Detect recurring patterns and suggest actionable improvements.

• Stay updated with current knowledge in concepts, practices, procedures, and legal developments.

• Foster strong working relationships within the Employee Relations team.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent; advanced degree and legal coursework are preferred.

• At least 8 years of experience in Employee Relations.

• Proven expertise in managing end-to-end workplace investigations.

• Experience working effectively with Legal, HR, Compliance, and business leadership.

• Ability to engage comfortably with employees and managers at all levels.

• Proven capacity to exercise sound judgment.

• Outstanding interpersonal, influencing, and relationship-building abilities.

• Strong understanding of employment law principles.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
