Emergency Physician – MSRT

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Deliver comprehensive emergency medical services in challenging and resource-limited settings.

• Assess, diagnose, treat, and prescribe medication for both routine and emergency medical conditions.

• Provide expert consultation and advice in the field of emergency medicine.

• Collaborate effectively as part of a small team.

• Assist a general surgeon and anesthesia provider in providing perioperative care.

• Oversee and conduct direct patient care, including damage-control resuscitation.

• Plan and execute Critical Care Air Transport missions for patients requiring ICU-level care.

• May assume a leadership role depending on qualifications and experience.

• Supervise attached medical personnel, including Physician Assistants, nurses, and medics.

• Record care and complete medical documentation in compliance with VIGILINT policies.

• Perform specific staff functions as needed.

• Support activities of the Mobile Surgical Resuscitation Team.

• Participate in at least one approximately 60-day OCONUS rotation each year, along with additional training and screening events.

⛳️ Requirements

• Active SECRET or higher security clearance.

• Current and unrestricted medical license to practice in the United States, District of Columbia, or Puerto Rico.

• Current Board Certification from the American Board of Emergency Medicine or the American Osteopathic Board of Emergency Medicine.

• Active civilian practice to ensure clinical proficiency during non-deployment periods.

• Minimum of 8 years of experience as an Emergency Physician.

• At least 5 years of experience in U.S. Military or Government Sponsored roles.

• Recent deployment in an austere environment and combat-like conditions within the last 3 years.

• Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO) degree from an accredited U.S. medical or osteopathic school.

• Experience as a staff or attending physician in a high-volume/high-acuity or critical-access setting.

• Deployment experience in austere and combat-like conditions in Role 1, 2, or 3 facilities.

• Must be a U.S. citizen.

• Current ACLS, PALS, and BLS certifications from the American Heart Association or Red Cross.

• Current and unrestricted DEA license.

• Valid United States Passport that will not expire within one year of employment.

• Must be a legal resident of one of the 50 U.S. states.

• Ability to lift 150 pounds with assistance, carry 80 pounds for 30 feet, and push/pull over 200 pounds; must meet specified anthropometric standards.

• Strongly desired: experience within the Military Special Operations Community.

• Strongly desired: prior FRST/FST or equivalent deployment experience.

• Strongly desired: TS/SCI security clearance.
