This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Spain.
• Lead and oversee a team of 6-8 Account Executives throughout the EMEA region, establishing clear performance goals and offering continuous coaching within an insight-driven, challenger-style sales approach.
• Take ownership of EMEA revenue achievements for both new logos and expansion across Tiger Cloud and self-hosted deployments, including TimescaleDB Enterprise as it becomes commercially available.
• Create and enforce the outbound strategy that anchors the region: focusing on targeted account discipline, ensuring contact density, and prioritizing quality of engagement over sheer volume.
• Mentor representatives on business impact discovery and guarantee the adoption of our sales framework.
• Collaborate with Marketing on Account-Based Marketing (ABM) execution for the region, which includes tailored nurture cadences, event follow-ups, and coordinated efforts against the target account list.
• Work cross-functionally with Sales Engineering, Customer Success, and CDE / Professional Services to advance deals through intricate, multi-stakeholder cycles.
• Recruit, hire, and cultivate talent, building a strong bench of individual contributors and identifying future leaders within the team.
• Represent the EMEA region in company-wide go-to-market (GTM) planning, forecasting, and quarterly leadership discussions.
• A minimum of 2 years of experience managing a quota-carrying sales team focused on mid-market or enterprise clients, preferably in SaaS, infrastructure, or database-related sales.
• Proven history of developing and scaling outbound sales motions, not merely managing inbound conversions, including leading teams whose primary pipeline source is self-generated.
• Strong coaching focus, with the capability to develop representatives into confident, insight-led sellers who can engage and challenge technical buyers.
• Experience in selling to technical audiences (engineering leaders, CTOs, platform teams) and navigating multi-stakeholder deals.
• Comfort with complex go-to-market environments where cloud and self-hosted deployments coexist, requiring adaptable positioning based on customer architecture and constraints.
• A cross-functional operator who collaborates effectively with Marketing, Product, and Customer Success peers to achieve results rather than remaining siloed in sales.
• Data-driven and results-oriented, capable of translating pipeline signals into coaching, forecasting, and resource allocation decisions.
• Excellent communication skills, with the confidence to present a viewpoint in leadership discussions and to push back when necessary.
• Flexible paid time off (PTO) and comprehensive family leave.
• Fridays off in August 😎.
• Fully remote opportunities available globally.
• Stock options for long-term growth.
• Monthly WiFi stipend.
• Professional development and educational resources 📚.
• Premium insurance options for you and your family (available for US-based employees).
