
EMD Sales Key Account Manager – Data Center Segment

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.
• Create and implement a business plan tailored to the territory that aligns with the objectives of the EMEA business unit.
• Discover and target new business prospects throughout the EMEA region.
• Assist in the facilitation of initial orders and demand forecasting in close partnership with 3M sales representatives and collaborators.
• Represent 3M’s EMD portfolio, with a focus on Cable Accessory, Sensored Cable Accessory, and Locating & Marking solutions.
• Work collaboratively across functions with Marketing, Technical, and Supply Chain teams to meet customer requirements.
• Keep track of market trends, competitor actions, and customer insights to guide strategic decisions.
• Ensure accurate account and opportunity information is maintained in CRM systems.
• Serve as a subject matter expert, offering training and guidance to colleagues and junior sales personnel.
• A Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related engineering field; an advanced degree is preferred.
• Significant experience in B2B sales and business development, particularly in the Data Center sector.
• A robust and established network among key players in the Data Center Hyperscale and EPC markets.
• Proven track record of successfully leading and expanding strategic key accounts.
• Demonstrated ability to work effectively within a global, matrixed organization.
• Advanced skills in CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce) and Microsoft Office suite.
• Proficient in English; knowledge of additional European languages is highly beneficial.
