
Embedded Engineer – Embedded Communication Protocols

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.
• You will create a multi-sensor perception and fusion system for a drone early-warning system that incorporates a learning-based mapping architecture.
• You will engage in software integration across various hardware devices.
• You will carry out kernel customization on devices such as Raspberry Pi to enhance IoT performance.
• Collaborating with Sensor Fusion, MLOps, and DevOps engineers, you will facilitate rapid and secure deployments.
• You will oversee system monitoring, troubleshoot incidents, and work on continuous improvement of observability.
• You will interact with both high-level network protocols and technologies including ROS 2, PCB design, OTA updates, and CAD.
• A minimum of 5 years of professional experience in the IT sector (e.g., software engineering); ideally between 15–20 years.
• At least 2 years of full-time professional experience as an Embedded Engineer.
• A minimum of 2 years of experience within the IoT domain.
• Proficient in C++, Python, and/or Rust.
• Extensive experience with the embedded Linux ecosystem.
• You have been employed by the same organization for a minimum of 2 consecutive years.
• Fluent in English; additional languages spoken are advantageous.
• 30 days of annual leave.
