This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Europe.
• Create and uphold a well-structured experimentation roadmap, consistently generating and prioritizing hypotheses aimed at enhancing email conversion rates and expanding email marketing as a sign-up channel across all Ruby Labs brands.
• Conceptualize, design, and implement A/B and multivariate tests on subject lines, preview text, email content, CTAs, send timings, sequences, and complete funnel flows, maintaining a strong focus on improving conversion metrics.
• Evaluate test outcomes with statistical precision, derive clear insights, document learnings, and deploy successful experiments across all brands on a large scale.
• Continuously analyze competitors' email strategies to uncover trends, gaps, and opportunities for Ruby Labs to leverage.
• Develop and suggest innovative email sequences, lifecycle flows, and campaign structures aimed at increasing sign-ups and conversions, collaborating with the email team for implementation.
• Monitor, report on, and take ownership of key growth KPIs, including conversion rate, sign-up share from email, revenue per email, and lift from experiments.
• Collaborate closely with the Email Lead, Email Marketing Specialists, Marketing Director, and Data Analysts to align growth priorities and ensure experiments are thoroughly instrumented and measurable.
• Identify and utilize opportunities within our email tools (Customer.io, Mixpanel) to unlock new testing and segmentation capabilities that align with growth objectives.
• A minimum of 3–5 years of experience in email marketing, growth marketing, or conversion rate optimization (CRO), with a proven track record of enhancing conversion metrics through experimentation.
• Solid experience with Customer.io or similar email automation platforms (Klaviyo, Mailchimp, Brevo).
• Proficient in Mixpanel or comparable analytics tools for tracking experiments and analyzing conversions.
• Strong grasp of A/B testing methodologies, statistical significance, and experiment design.
• A growth-oriented mindset with an intense focus on conversion metrics. You think in terms of funnels, lift percentages, and iterative test-learn cycles.
• Highly analytical. Comfortable with data extraction, report generation, and making decisions based on evidence. You can distinguish between significant results and noise.
• A natural generator of ideas who produces a high volume of creative, testable hypotheses and knows how to prioritize them based on potential impact.
• Strong proficiency in AI tools is essential. We expect this individual to incorporate AI into their daily processes.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills in English. The ability to craft clear, compelling email copy for test variants is a significant advantage.
• Experience with subscription-based or direct-to-consumer digital products is essential.
