Email Design Lead – Retention Agency

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil, +5 more countries.

📋 Description

• Create initial email designs for each new client.

• Develop the visual identity for each brand, encompassing typography, photography style, color palette, merchandising, and motion elements when necessary.

• Ensure high design standards across the agency's portfolio.

• Guide, brief, critique, and mentor graphic designers.

• Provide art direction at the campaign level for weekly emails, promotions, and product launches.

• Collaborate with strategists and copywriters to transform briefs into refined email campaigns.

• Challenge briefs that may result in unoriginal work.

• Adjust visual direction across categories such as fashion, beauty, CPG, and accessories.

• Conduct critiques, take briefs, and engage in client calls in English.

• Maintain the working hours of 9am–5pm EST every business day.

⛳️ Requirements

• Experience at an agency that caters to 8–9-figure ecommerce/DTC brands, with agency and brand names included.

• An outstanding email portfolio showcasing campaign art direction, custom display typography, treated photography, and designed merchandising.

• Ongoing hands-on design capability; the initial work for a new client must be personally crafted.

• Previous experience in leading designers, including briefing, redlining, and enhancing their work.

• Proficiency in Figma.

• Assumed proficiency in Adobe software.

• Ability to create for Klaviyo without generating standard Klaviyo-style designs.

• Versatility across fashion, beauty, CPG, and accessories sectors.

• Fluent in professional English, both spoken and written.

• Residing in Brazil, Argentina, Uruguay, Chile, Peru, or Ecuador.

• Capability and willingness to work from 9am–1pm EST; the role description also requires availability from 9am–5pm EST every working day.

• A portfolio link is mandatory; the portfolio must include email work or the closest shareable editorial/campaign work if email work is under NDA.
