Senior UI/UX Designer – Figma, E-commerce

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Portugal.

📋 Description

• Take ownership of the UX/UI throughout the entire online purchasing journey on sunrise.ch, spanning from device browsing to plan selection, upselling, and checkout.

• Perform UX audits and conduct user research.

• Develop personas, journey maps, wireframes, and high-fidelity prototypes.

• Oversee design systems and maintain component libraries.

• Collaborate effectively with product, engineering, and business teams located in Lisbon and Switzerland.

• Ensure precise implementation of designs by engineering teams.

• Contribute to A/B testing initiatives.

• Utilize funnel and post-release usability or conversion data to inform and validate design decisions.

• Serve as the advocate for customers in all design-related decisions.

⛳️ Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in UX/UI design, preferably within e-commerce, digital sales, or conversion-driven digital products.

• A robust portfolio showcasing interaction design, visual design excellence, and quantifiable impact on conversion or usability metrics.

• Advanced expertise in Figma and associated design tools.

• Solid understanding of conversion principles, funnel analysis, and usability heuristics.

• Proven experience in conducting user research and translating insights into personas, journey maps, wireframes, and high-fidelity prototypes.

• Capability to conduct UX/UI audits across a purchasing funnel, prioritizing enhancements based on impact and effort.

• Experience in managing design systems and component libraries.

• Comfortable collaborating directly with engineering teams and participating in A/B testing initiatives.

• Strong English communication skills (B2 level or higher).

• Residing in Portugal and available for fully remote work.
