This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Ohio.
• Assist in the instructional program by delivering asynchronous recorded lessons, synchronous instruction, individual communications, and interventions.
• Offer clear, constructive, and consistent feedback on student work, prepare progress reports, and facilitate parent conferences.
• Regularly communicate with parents, students, and teachers to create and update Personal Learning Plans and schedules.
• Assess student work, track assignment completion, and provide coaching on special projects.
• Acquire comprehensive knowledge of the K-12 curriculum and specific knowledge of assigned grade levels.
• Utilize the Response to Intervention/Multi-Tiered System of Supports model along with student data to deliver differentiated instruction and develop Tier 2 and Tier 3 interventions.
• Offer alternate lessons, assessments, strategies, and extra support to achieve individual learning objectives.
• Foster relationships with students and families while providing tailored instruction and intervention.
• Collaborate with colleagues and professional learning communities to monitor student progress and guide instructional decisions.
• Create alternative interventions and extensions in partnership with teachers, team members, and learning specialists.
• Keep up-to-date student records and data, including cumulative files, attendance, and student and parent contacts.
• Work with Advisory Teachers and School Counselors to coordinate communications, progress, and objectives.
• Organize and attend social activities, school events, and relevant field trips.
• Engage with students and families during events and field trips.
• Build and maintain a virtual school community.
• Attend mandatory professional development sessions and seek opportunities for professional growth.
• Participate in the organization and administration of State Testing.
• Take part in student recruitment sessions and marketing initiatives requiring teacher representation.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
• A valid K-5, 1-8, or 4-9th grade teaching credential in Ohio.
• Strong proficiency in technology, particularly with Microsoft Office products and Google Suite.
• Exceptional oral and written communication abilities.
• Highly organized and punctual.
• Focused on student and family needs.
• A high level of flexibility.
• Proven ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
• Demonstrated history of being a team player.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively with students, parents, staff, and diverse community members.
• Willingness to travel for marketing and state testing events, which may include occasional overnight stays.
• Availability to work occasional evening hours as necessary to support families.
• Capability to set up two-step authentication for system login upon job offer.
