Elementary Literacy Coach

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Michigan.

📋 Description

• Demonstrate effective instructional techniques for educators by collaborating weekly with students in whole groups, small groups, or one-on-one sessions;

• Organize and facilitate study groups;

• Educate teachers on data analysis and the application of data to tailor instruction;

• Provide coaching and mentorship to colleagues;

• Collaborate with teachers to guarantee the faithful implementation of research-based reading programs;

• Partner with all educators (including those in content and elective areas) at the school they support, assisting in prioritizing time for teachers, activities, and roles that will most significantly affect student success, particularly through coaching and mentoring in classrooms;

• Assist in leading and supporting leadership teams.

⛳️ Requirements

• A bachelor's degree or higher along with an Elementary teaching certification

• Experience in elementary teaching

• A Master’s degree in reading or a comparable qualification, along with LETRS training

• Willingness to travel 20% of the time

• Capability to pass the necessary background check
