This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Arizona, +13 more states.
• Oversee the configuration, testing, and maintenance of EDI transactions with external EDI providers and trading partners, encompassing 850 (Purchase Orders), 855 (Purchase Order Acknowledgments), 856 (Advance Ship Notices), and 810 (Invoices).
• Actively monitor daily EDI transmissions to detect failures, errors, or delays; investigate failed or rejected transactions and coordinate reprocessing efforts with vendors, internal teams, and the EDI provider to avert operational disruptions.
• Function as the main point of contact between internal teams, external vendors, and the EDI partner, managing the daily relationship with the third-party EDI provider, including issue escalation, prioritization, and performance monitoring.
• Spearhead the complete onboarding process of new vendors into the EDI program, including requirements gathering, testing, validation, and go-live coordination.
• Create, standardize, and maintain all EDI documentation, process guides, and support materials.
• Ensure precise data flow between the EDI platform, internal ERP system, and PO Management software.
• Collaborate closely with the Merchandising, IT, and Accounting teams to resolve data discrepancies, uphold seamless transaction flow, and advocate for EDI best practices across teams.
• Monitor EDI performance metrics, including error rates, vendor compliance, and onboarding timelines, and leverage these insights to identify trends in transaction errors to propose process enhancements.
• Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Information Technology, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Operations Management, a related field, or equivalent work experience.
• 2+ years of experience with EDI systems, trading partner onboarding, and transaction lifecycle management.
• Profound working knowledge of EDI document types (850, 855, 856, 810) and standard mapping processes.
• Experience troubleshooting across various systems, including EDI platforms, ERP systems, and order/PO management tools.
• Familiarity with EDI service providers (LBMX, TrueCommerce, etc.).
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, particularly in data troubleshooting.
• Excellent communication abilities for coordinating with external partners and internal departments.
• Capacity to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
