This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Kansas.
β’ Support the development of electrical schematics and the layout of printed circuit boards (PCBs).
β’ Conduct hands-on testing, debugging, and initial setup of prototype electrical printed circuit assemblies (PCAs) and systems.
β’ Investigate and choose electrical components considering performance, cost, and availability factors.
β’ Create and manage engineering documentation, which includes bills of materials (BOMs), testing plans, and assembly guidelines.
β’ Collaborate with software, mechanical, and manufacturing teams to address hardware-related challenges.
β’ Must be eligible to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance β U.S. Citizenship is mandatory.
β’ A Bachelorβs degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or a closely related technical discipline is required.
β’ 0 to 2 years of relevant professional experience or significant internship experience in electrical hardware design.
β’ Hands-on experience or familiarity with industry-standard design tools such as Altium Designer, OrCAD Capture, or Mentor PADS is strongly preferred.
β’ Practical experience with laboratory equipment, including oscilloscopes, digital multimeters, function generators, and soldering tools.
β’ A basic understanding of circuit analysis, signal troubleshooting, and PCA hardware testing methodologies.
