Electrical Engineer – System Designer, High End Residential

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Execute electrical takeoffs for both residential and commercial projects.

• Develop design and engineering documentation for the implementation of electrical systems in upscale residences and light commercial settings.

• Proficient in design software (preferably AutoCAD, D-Tools, Planswift).

• Comprehensive knowledge of electrical systems, NEC regulations, load calculations, engineering circuits, and distribution systems.

• Familiarity with the built environment and the various phases of construction projects.

⛳️ Requirements

• Background in Design/Layout/Drafting and proposal development for residential electrical systems utilizing tools such as CAD and Revit (preferably).

• Consistent work history (minimum 3 years between job changes).

• A friendly demeanor with high emotional intelligence.

• Experience in designing electrical systems for both residential and commercial projects.

• Strong understanding of the NEC.

• Proven experience in creating electrical drawings and construction documentation.

• Experience with AV or low-voltage distribution layouts (preferred).

• Knowledge of residential construction, commercial tenant improvements, service upgrades, and electrical permitting requirements.
