
Electrical Engineer β Microgrids

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
β’ Oversee the electrical engineering design for innovative microgrids, industrial power systems, and projects related to renewable energy integration.
β’ Develop detailed CAD drawings, adhere to stringent project timelines, and ensure that engineering outputs conform to high technical standards.
β’ Plan and draft intricate electrical systems, including low- and medium-voltage power distribution, generation integration, and essential facility switchgear.
β’ Conduct thorough electrical calculations and Power System Studies using SKM or ETAP software.
β’ Collaborate directly with asset owners, electric utilities, cross-disciplinary engineering leads, procurement teams, and construction personnel.
β’ Offer construction administration and commissioning assistance, including technical reviews of Bills of Material (BOM), submittal assessments, and final completion documentation.
β’ Bachelorβs degree in Electrical Engineering from an ABET-accredited university or its equivalent.
β’ A minimum of 3 years of experience in electrical engineering design, with a focus on industrial power systems, heavy infrastructure, microgrids, or renewable energy integration.
β’ Required proficiency in AutoCAD (Revit knowledge is advantageous); hands-on experience with SKM or ETAP modeling software is strongly preferred.
β’ Extensive knowledge of the National Electrical Code (NEC/NFPA 70), National Electrical Safety Code (NESC/IEEE C2), and widely accepted protective relaying philosophies.
