This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Ukraine.

📋 Description

• Oversee the complete development process of intricate digital, analog, and mixed-signal devices.

• Design system-level hardware architectures and choose essential components based on cost, performance, and availability.

• Create multi-layer PCBs with a keen emphasis on Signal Integrity (SI), Power Integrity (PI), and compliance with EMC/EMI standards.

• Perform advanced measurements, troubleshoot complex hardware problems, and evaluate results utilizing high-end laboratory equipment.

• Establish Design for Testing (DFT) and Design for Manufacturability (DFM) standards for new products.

• Conduct schematic and PCB layout assessments for the team.

• Guide junior engineers and disseminate best practices in hardware development.


⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or higher in Electronics or a related discipline.

• Over 5 years of experience in product design within the consumer electronics sector.

• Practical expertise in analog/digital circuit design principles, component selection, and cost-schedule optimization techniques.

• Comprehensive understanding of electrical engineering standards and specifications.

• Experience in root cause analysis and executing corrective measures.

• Proficient in designing mixed-signal hardware schematics and layouts using CAD tools.

• Familiarity with high-speed digital electronics design.

• Experience with power harvesting, low-power electronics, and battery-operated devices.

• Skilled in addressing thermal design challenges and creating outdoor, weatherproof product designs.

• Proficient in design and troubleshooting of power electronics.

• Insight into product trade-offs concerning user experience.

• Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
