Electrical Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.

📋 Description

• Design, plan, research, assess, and test electrical and electronic equipment and systems.

• Evaluate, implement, operate, and maintain the electric power of facilities.

• Prepare, supervise, and validate electrical patterns.

• Develop engineering concepts for electrical and instrumentation systems.

• Conduct analyses and technical studies to achieve product performance targets and comply with applicable standards.

• Select components, source suppliers, and ensure technical compliance.

• Convert test requirements into specifications for instrumentation, control, and electrical systems.

• Create specifications and oversee subcontracted work.

• Assist facilities and address issues on construction sites.

• Support the manufacturing and assembly of equipment.

• Develop testing protocols and engage in equipment testing.

• Participate in cost and time estimations.

• Contribute to research and development initiatives for product advancement and enhancement.

• Provide customer support for troubleshooting and product upgrades.

• Draft technical project reports.

• Engage in resolving intricate technical challenges.

• Understanding of electrical equipment standards, including CSA, UL, and CE.

• Relevant experience is required.

• Occasional travel to Germany is necessary.
