EHS Field Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Identify, implement, and sustain safety processes in the field to prevent injuries.

• Foster and enhance a robust safety culture while holding employees accountable.

• Conduct Job Safety Analyses, site inspections, and safety audits.

• Execute necessary modifications to safety processes.

• Provide OSHA compliance and safety training for new hires while maintaining precise records.

• Address unsafe practices and acknowledge safe behaviors.

• Establish and monitor safety goals to safeguard employees and reduce company liability.

• Oversee workers’ compensation cases and assist injured employees in their return to work.

• Investigate accidents, incidents, and near misses.

• Conduct root cause analyses and suggest corrective measures.

• Assess and recommend enhancements for personal protective equipment (PPE) and safety gear.

• Collaborate with leadership, safety committees, and project teams to embed and supervise safety in everyday operations.

• Support field and sealant operations by evaluating environmental, health, and safety risks and trends.

• Manage safety programs and protocols at construction sites to ensure regulatory compliance.


⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of five (5) years of experience in construction safety, including environmental compliance and reporting.

• Proficiency in field safety processes and regulatory compliance.

• Experience in conducting site inspections and audits.

• Proven ability to deliver OSHA compliance and safety training for new hires.

• Experience in managing workers’ compensation cases.

• Skills in accident investigation and root cause analysis.

• Strong collaborative abilities across various teams.

• A valid driver’s license and capability to operate a motor vehicle are required.

• Ability to wear all necessary PPE, such as safety boots, safety glasses, hearing protection, high-visibility vest, and hard hat.

• Capability to stand, walk, and navigate active plant and field settings.

• Ability to climb stairs, traverse uneven surfaces, and safely navigate through industrial work zones.

• Capacity to work around moving equipment, machinery, noise, dust, vibration, and outdoor weather conditions.

• A bachelor’s degree in safety management, construction management, industrial hygiene, or a related field is preferred.

• Bilingual capabilities in Spanish and English are preferred.

• CHST certification is preferred.

• OSHA 10- and 30-hour construction certifications are preferred.

• Familiarity with fall protection systems, rigging, and crane operations is preferred.

• First Aid, CPR, and AED certification is preferred.
