EHR Support Analyst

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Pennsylvania.

📋 Description

• Deliver first- and second-level support for users of the EHR system.

• Tackle technical challenges, offer guidance on system usage, and swiftly resolve system errors.

• Work collaboratively with clinical and administrative teams to grasp workflow needs.

• Adapt EHR functionalities to align with workflow requirements.

• Develop user documentation to enhance staff proficiency with EHR applications.

• Monitor system performance and pinpoint potential risks or inefficiencies.

• Work in tandem with IT and vendor teams to facilitate upgrades or fixes.

• Ensure adherence to healthcare data privacy regulations and organizational EHR security protocols.

• Foster improved patient care outcomes and operational efficiency through adept EHR system management.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Health Information Management, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related discipline, or a comparable combination of education and professional experience.

• A minimum of 3 years of experience with Electronic Health Record systems.

• Preferably experienced in a behavioral health, IDD, or social services environment.

• Strong grasp of clinical and billing workflows along with clinical documentation processes.

• Proficient in troubleshooting software issues and delivering end-user support.

• Familiarity with HIPAA regulations and healthcare data privacy standards.

• Preferably knowledgeable about EHR systems such as myAvatar, myEvolv, or Credible.

• Experience with healthcare data analytics and reporting tools is preferred.

• Familiarity with HL7 and FHIR interoperability standards is preferred.

• Previous experience in clinical, billing, or healthcare IT support is preferred.

• Basic knowledge of SQL queries is preferred.
