This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Maryland.

📋 Description

• Carry out education verification investigations in accordance with established procedures and guidelines.

• Conduct thorough research utilizing the Internet and various other resources.

• Initiate and follow up on education record verifications through phone, fax, mail, email, and online databases.

• Engage with applicants and educational institutions to gather necessary information.

• Accurately log investigation data into the appropriate formats and databases.

• Consistently achieve departmental production targets.

• Navigate competing priorities to ensure that goals are met.

• Utilize independent judgment and resourcefulness to fulfill client requests.

• Assist fellow Education Investigators and collaborate closely with all departments.

• Complete special assignments or projects as needed.

• Undertake additional duties and support departmental needs as required.

⛳️ Requirements

• High School diploma is required.

• Familiarity with the Fair Credit Reporting Act (FCRA), as well as state and federal laws, and PreCheck guidelines.

• Capability to conduct thorough and accurate primary source education verification investigations.

• Proficiency in performing detailed Internet research and utilizing various resources.

• Ability to request education records through phone, fax, mail, email, and online databases.

• Competence in communicating with applicants and educational institutions via phone.

• Skill in accurately recording data in diverse databases.

• Ability to meet departmental production standards.

• Strong time-management skills to handle competing demands and achieve objectives.

• Independent judgment and resourcefulness are essential.

• Capacity to support Education Investigators and collaborate effectively with all departments.
