This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Assist in the lifecycle of standards publication by reviewing, preparing, and publishing SEMI Standards along with related technical documents.

• Evaluate Standards Documents for editorial accuracy, formatting, and compliance with publication standards.

• Conduct comprehensive redlining and editing of Standards Documents.

• Prepare final, publication-ready Standards Documents for internal evaluation and release.

• Create, manage, and archive final publication files in specified formats.

• Coordinate publication efforts with Standards personnel and internal stakeholders.

• Update the SEMI Standards Compilation of Terms as necessary.

• Generate and oversee processing queues.

• Offer guidance, training, and support regarding publication requirements, document formatting, and editorial processes.

• Act as the final quality-control checkpoint for administrative and stylistic adherence prior to publication.

• Perform additional duties and responsibilities as assigned.


⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in English, Technical Communication, Publishing, or a related field.

• A minimum of 3 years of professional experience in technical editing, document production, publishing, or similar roles.

• Advanced skills in Microsoft Word, including styles, templates, figures, tables, cross-references, and multilevel numbering.

• Proficient in Adobe Acrobat Pro, including watermarking, security settings, and preparing publication-ready PDFs.

• Excellent attention to detail, visual precision, and time-management abilities.

• Capability to interpret and implement detailed editorial and formatting guidelines with minimal supervision.

• Experience with standards development organizations, technical publications, consensus processes, regulatory documents, or similar technical materials.

• Familiarity with The Chicago Manual of Style, ANSI Essential Requirements, or equivalent technical publishing standards.

• Preferred experience with the U.S. voluntary consensus standards development process.

• Relevant experience in a semiconductor manufacturing setting is preferred.

• Prior experience working in diverse and inclusive professional environments is preferred.

• Must reside in a U.S. state where the organization is legally permitted to hire individuals.

• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States at the time of application and throughout employment without current or future employer sponsorship.
