📋 Description

• Assist with the free website, fool.ca

• Edit content for articles pertaining to investing and retirement planning to ensure they are engaging, well-structured, and logically coherent

• Proofread articles to eliminate grammatical and spelling mistakes

• Publish articles in WordPress, ensuring all necessary metadata is included and verified, such as images, stock tickers, and stock ownership disclosures

• Collaborate with the managing editor to grasp investing concepts and detect factual inaccuracies or regulatory compliance issues

• Offer constructive feedback to the managing editor regarding writers and the content produced

• Provide insights to writers aimed at enhancing their writing skills

• Previous experience as an editor, preferably with online editorial content

• Proficiency in grammar, writing style, and financial fact-checking

• Excellent organizational abilities

• Capability to self-motivate and remain focused on achieving daily deadlines

• Keen attention to detail

• Strong communication skills

• A sense of curiosity, adaptability, and a good sense of humor

• Applicants must be located in Canada to be considered

• Familiarity with WordPress is required

• Some understanding of SEO best practices

• Basic knowledge of large language model AI tools

• Experience with collaboration platforms such as Slack and Google applications
