EDI Enrollment Specialist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New York.

📋 Description

• Oversee the management of Claims, ERA, and Eligibility enrollments from initiation to approval.

• Provide clients with comprehensive, step-by-step instructions on necessary forms and setup processes.

• Act as the main point of contact for client inquiries related to enrollment.

• Facilitate communication among clients, payers, and clearinghouses to address issues and delays.

• Keep track of enrollment statuses and ensure documentation is up-to-date across various systems.

• Follow up on pending or denied enrollments and escalate issues when necessary.

• Educate clients about payer requirements and associated timelines.

• Monitor changing payer and clearinghouse requirements.

• Provide proactive enrollment updates to relevant stakeholders.

• Enhance the management of enrollments as the company expands.

⛳️ Requirements

• Demonstrated experience with Claims, ERA, and Eligibility enrollments through healthcare clearinghouses.

• Knowledge of Availity.

• Strong communication skills to translate complex payer requirements into clear guidance for clients.

• Excellent organizational skills to manage multiple concurrent requests effectively.

• A proactive, problem-solving attitude with a sense of ownership.

• Ability to collaborate comfortably with clients, payers, clearinghouses, and internal teams.

• Exceptional attention to detail.

• Flexibility to adapt as requirements evolve.

• A minimum of 2 years of experience in healthcare revenue cycle, medical billing, or EDI enrollment is preferred.

• U.S. work authorization is required on the application form.

• Experience in submitting payer EDI enrollments to clearinghouses is required on the application form.

• Familiarity with Availity is required on the application form.

• Experience with payment portals such as ECHO, Payspan, Zelis, and Payer Enrollment Services is required on the application form.
