EDI Business Analyst

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in France.

📋 Description

• In-depth knowledge of the logistics sector, particularly in air and ocean freight and customs operations.

• Proficient in aligning data across various systems to ensure smooth integration processes.

• Capable of diagnosing and resolving issues associated with data transfer and system integration.

• Responsible for maintaining accuracy in data transmission and adhering to industry regulations.

• Proven experience in defining and managing EDI test scenarios, conducting system testing, and providing support for UAT.

• Skilled in identifying and documenting business requirements for digital solutions downstream.

• Engage in solution brainstorming, design sprints, and user interviews to collect relevant information.

• Assess industry best practices and current market solutions for benchmarking purposes.

• Support the product owner in detailing the features and user stories of digital solutions.

• Convert end-user needs into software functionalities and features.

• Establish clear acceptance criteria and ensure user stories are prepared for design and development.

• Report directly to the EDI Product Owner while collaborating with various stakeholders.

⛳️ Requirements

• 5 to 7 years of experience in a similar position.

• Proficiency in English is essential.

• Comprehensive knowledge of the logistics industry, particularly in air and ocean freight and customs operations.

• Capable of mapping data between different systems and ensuring smooth integration.

• Ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues related to data exchange and system integration.

• Ensure accuracy in data transmission and compliance with industry standards.

• Demonstrated experience in defining and managing EDI test cases, system testing, and UAT support.

• Familiarity with EDI software tools such as IBM Sterling Integrator, TIBCO, WSO2, etc.

• Strong communication skills are vital.
