This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Oregon.
• Assist the Internal Audit team by performing economic and quantitative analyses.
• Utilize data and structured research to pinpoint inefficiencies, incentives, and policy deficiencies.
• Engage in research, case studies, and statistical analyses to support audit conclusions and suggestions.
• Aid in evaluating decision-making behaviors and the effectiveness of controls; familiarity with behavioral economics concepts is advantageous.
• Present insights through well-structured reports and presentations for Internal Audit stakeholders.
• Comprehend how incentives, behavior, and policy frameworks shape risk and operational results.
• Enhance skills in research design, statistical analysis, and business applications.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to facilitate process and policy enhancements.
• Must be currently enrolled in a graduate program in Economics or a related discipline (PhD candidates are preferred).
• Solid grounding in economic theory, quantitative techniques, and analytical thinking.
• An interest in or coursework related to behavioral economics is a plus.
• Prior experience with statistical or analytical tools (e.g., R, Python, Stata) is preferred.
• Capability to distill research into actionable insights that are relevant to business.
• Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
