Earthworks Technician

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.

📋 Description

• Conduct in-situ testing on dynamic earthworks projects

• Perform laboratory testing when not engaged on site

• Assess the physical properties of concrete, earthworks, aggregates, and bituminous mixtures

• Ensure materials meet specified requirements

• Execute testing according to British, European, and American standards

• Collect and organize materials for laboratory analysis

• Mentor colleagues to enhance their knowledge and improve team capabilities

• Liaise with managers and clients effectively

• Accurately and completely finalize testing and worksheets

⛳️ Requirements

• CSCS certification is preferred but not mandatory

• Valid UK driving licence

• Strong verbal and written communication abilities

• Excellent organizational skills

• Competence in reading and interpreting an earthworks specification

• Outstanding time management skills

• Capability to adhere to relevant British, European, and American standards for the tests conducted

• Ability to function effectively both independently and within a team

• Keen attention to detail

• Proficient in following established procedures
