Dynatrace Consultant

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Enhance the current Dynatrace Gen3 deployment to include various use cases such as Teams Observability integration, Job Service observability, Self-Service Observability Onboarding Portal, Agentic Workflows Deployment (Dynatrace Intelligence), and NetFlow Observability Integration.

• Establish and develop a Managed instance for Trusted Environments.

• Serve as a Dynatrace subject matter expert, merging product knowledge with practical consulting experience.

• Collaborate with customers to ascertain their business and technical goals, translating these into effective Dynatrace implementations.

• Deploy, configure, manage, and sustain Dynatrace environments, including OneAgent, ActiveGates, extensions, and integrations.

• Facilitate customer adoption of Dynatrace Gen3 AI capabilities, encompassing AI-driven insights, causation analysis, and automation use cases.

• Assist customers in utilizing AI-powered analytics to minimize noise, speed up root cause analysis, and enhance operational efficiency.

• Aid in aligning Gen3 AI functionalities with customer workflows such as alerting, remediation, reporting, and decision support.

• Educate customers on the latest AI-driven observability features as part of their Dynatrace roadmap.

• Onboard applications and services into Dynatrace, ensuring effective monitoring of critical business systems.

• Design and oversee management zones, network zones, dashboards, alerts, reports, and SLAs.

• Analyze performance metrics, logs, traces, and statistics to troubleshoot and optimize applications, architectures, and operational practices.

• Support Grail adoption, which includes log management onboarding and migration to Dynatrace-native analytics.

• Work closely with application, infrastructure, and platform teams to promote adoption throughout the application lifecycle.

• Mentor and train customers on Dynatrace best practices and operational maturity.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 2 years of hands-on experience as a Dynatrace engineer or consultant.

• Dynatrace Associate certification (or equivalent experience), with the capability to rapidly achieve Professional level.

• Demonstrated experience in deploying, managing, and supporting Dynatrace environments in both SaaS and Managed implementations.

• Solid understanding of Dynatrace architecture, best practices, and core functionalities.

• Practical expertise in deploying, troubleshooting, and extending OneAgent and ActiveGate.

• Experience in creating and managing management zones, dashboards, alerts, and reports.

• Proficient in analyzing performance data across applications, systems, and networks.

• Foundational knowledge or experience in Grail and Dynatrace log management.

• Strong consultative skills with the ability to engage both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
