DWH Developer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Switzerland.

📋 Description

• Design and implement data models and ETL pipelines utilizing Pentaho.

• Develop and maintain reporting solutions and modern reports.

• Optimize and enhance the existing data warehouse architecture and technical infrastructure.

• Monitor data consistency and ensure high levels of data quality.

• Investigate and resolve errors and incidents within the production environment.

• Plan and execute tests for quality assurance purposes.

• Coordinate upcoming tasks within the team.

• Collaborate with other involved business and development teams.

• Contribute to an agile work environment through the use of Scrum and SAFe.

⛳️ Requirements

• A degree, vocational training, or comparable technical qualification in computer science or a related discipline.

• Several years of experience in designing and developing ETL processes.

• Strong practical knowledge of SQL and Oracle.

• Experience with or interest in self-service BI and user-friendly reporting solutions.

• A solid understanding of data modeling, data management, and data warehouse architectures.

• Knowledge of Data Vault is a plus.

• Familiarity with business processes in the tax domain, especially assessment, taxation, or registry processes, is advantageous.

• Understanding of continuous integration and test-driven development.

• Practical experience with Git, Docker, and Kubernetes, along with integrating various applications and systems.

• An independent, analytical, and solution-focused work approach.

• A keen interest in ongoing professional and technical development.

• Proficiency in German and very good English skills.
