DT SAP Production Planning Technical/Functional Analyst

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Connecticut.

📋 Description

• Provide IT solutions tailored for Operations, specifically within production, assembly and testing, as well as plant maintenance sectors.

• Collaborate with operations to grasp customer needs and create effective solutions.

• Work in partnership with Digital Technology teams, third-party software providers, partners, and subject matter experts.

• Suggest solutions, resolve complex problems, and implement best practices in application processes and architecture.

• Identify process enhancement opportunities that optimize business operations and yield benefits.

• Conduct technical and functional problem resolution while ensuring compatibility with other solutions and applications.

• Provide support for the existing SAP ECC environment and related production and engine-center initiatives.

• Engage in the SAP S/4HANA digital transformation for the Plan to Sustain workstream.

• Record business requirements and convert them into solution specifications.

• Collaborate within cross-functional teams to connect Operations with enterprise applications.

• Lead or contribute to ERP projects, ensuring alignment among stakeholders regarding vision, scope, schedule, and budget.

• Recognize, assess, and apply continuous business improvements through standard application configurations.

• Facilitate knowledge transfer to support teams following go-live.

• Travel as necessary to meet business or project demands.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology or a related field, along with 8+ years of IT experience, which includes customer-facing roles, requirements gathering, functional/technical solution design, support, and project management/delivery; OR an advanced degree with 5+ years of related experience demonstrating similar capabilities.

• Over 5 years of SAP configuration experience in the SAP Production Planning module.

• Experience with SAP S/4HANA is preferred.

• Excellent communication, facilitation, and analytical skills are essential.

• Proven project management experience.

• U.S. citizenship is mandatory.

• SAP PP certification (ECC/S4) or equivalent experience is preferred.

• Familiarity with other SAP modules is advantageous.

• Strong technical background in a complex SAP environment is preferred.

• Leadership in successful process improvement initiatives is preferred.

• Experience in process development and implementation across organizational boundaries is preferred.

• An agile mindset with experience in implementing and supporting scaled agile practices is preferred.

• Experience in program debugging is preferred.

• BTP/MES experience is preferred.

• Availability and willingness to travel based on business or project requirements.
