Dog Trainer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Engage with and manage dogs across various breeds, ages, and sizes

• Educate clients to enhance dogs’ behavior and obedience while fostering the bond between client and dog

• Deliver live dog training sessions

• Tailor training programs to meet each dog’s unique needs, temperament, and behavior

• Offer empathetic, high-quality customer service

• Ensure clear and consistent communication with clients and the Dog Academy team

⛳️ Requirements

• Must be a minimum of 18 years old

• Utilize only positive reinforcement and rewards-based training methods; no e-collar, prong, balanced, or aversive techniques

• Comprehensive knowledge of dog behavior, body language, and positive training methodologies

• Capability to build client relationships, articulate the training process, and track client progress

• Excellent attention to detail

• Proficiency in customizing training plans for each session

• A minimum of 2 years of experience in dog training is required

• Professional Dog Trainer Certification is preferred
