This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Connecticut, +14 more states.
• Oversees the execution of the Business Plan to achieve designated targets and objectives.
• Responsible for leading a team that engages with all levels of the DSD network, including brand managers, sales leaders, and distributor ownership.
• Develops and nurtures robust business relationships with the good2grow account teams and the Vice President of National Accounts across both immediate consumption and large format channels.
• Accountable for the creation, implementation, and maintenance of the Annual Distributor Business Planning & Fiscal Budgeting, documenting both with assigned distributors (Green Letter).
• Manages a regional P&L, SG&A budgeting, and ensures the delivery of agreed-upon volume and market share objectives for good2grow.
• Guides the regional sales team in conducting monthly and quarterly joint business alignment meetings, reviewing the progress of mutually established objectives, KPIs, and scorecards with distributors.
• Responsible for the accurate and timely sales forecasting process for the assigned region and customers.
• Leads the implementation of distributor training, sales meeting presentations, and actively participates in senior-level top-to-top meetings with their team.
• Maintains relationships at the highest levels of key distributors and customers within the assigned region.
• Develops relationships with larger chains, local chains, and the independent market.
• Drives the regional teams' use of VIP Karma and Microsoft Viva Engage apps for tracking, auditing, following up, and executing store visits.
• Cultivates relationships at the senior levels of assigned distributor organizations to facilitate communication and drive major opportunities at the retail level.
• Completes all required administrative tasks during office days promptly.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
• Over 15 years of sales experience (preferably in the Consumer Packaged Goods industry), including merchandising, direct store delivery, or supplier sales.
• At least 5 years of sales leadership experience, managing a multi-level team.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office.
• Strong expertise in data analysis.
• Capability to lift up to 50 lbs.
