This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Oregon, +1 more state.
• Lead and nurture a team of exceptional Territory Managers (TMs) to meet established business goals.
• Strategically plan, organize, and implement sales approaches and Territory plans throughout the Division, evaluating both successes and setbacks with actionable strategies for ongoing enhancement.
• Coach and guide TMs to refine their selling and professional capabilities through goal-setting, tailored feedback, collaborative sales calls, individual coaching sessions, and performance assessments.
• Distill and convey Division-level insights and business intelligence to the TM team, other Division Managers, Regional Sales Leadership, and associated functions.
• Meet the KPIs established at the company, regional, and individual levels.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with headquarters, regional offices, and other departments (such as Trade Marketing, Distribution Management, Key Accounts, etc.).
• Maintain an up-to-date understanding of relevant local and state regulations and taxes within the Division and advise TMs on how to optimize results in their respective local markets.
• A minimum of 4-5 years of field sales experience, ideally with a focus on managing teams of territory sales representatives.
• Demonstrated sales management expertise, characterized by a strong understanding of the CPG retail landscape.
• Excellent motivational and management abilities, coupled with a talent for hands-on coaching and personal development.
• Proficiency in utilizing sales technologies and software, such as SalesForce and Tableau, to analyze and act on critical data.
• Capable of effectively communicating using tools like PowerPoint, Excel, Zoom, etc.
• Ability to prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment and take initiative to foster solutions.
• Experience in the Tobacco industry or other regulated sectors.
• Prior experience in sales leadership roles.
