This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California, +2 more states.
• Take ownership of and oversee a portfolio comprising Kroger Divisions and vendor accounts, acting as the trusted advisor and primary contact.
• Perform regular account assessments and business check-ins.
• Recognize opportunities for expansion, assist with renewals, and manage yearly account budgets.
• Observe client activity to identify engagement levels, risks, and upselling opportunities.
• Promote the adoption of the GlobalWorx platform through continuous support, insights, and best practices.
• Collaborate with Account Services, IT, Billing, and Product teams to address technical, billing, feature, and process concerns.
• Ensure effective client onboarding and tailored customer training.
• Document and track client communications and feedback effectively.
• Partner with retailers to enhance GlobalWorx adoption and usage.
• Create analytical reports, present findings, and respond to stakeholder inquiries.
• Develop or refine project plans and initiatives aimed at service improvement in collaboration with retailer, distributor, and manufacturer stakeholders.
• Oversee multiple projects and initiatives to ensure measurable completion.
• Carry out field operations tasks to enhance distributor service and improve in-stock percentages across store, district, region, division, and national levels.
• A minimum of 5 years of direct experience in DSD operational roles.
• At least 3 years of experience in account management, client success, or customer-facing positions.
• Over 3 years of experience in CPG retailer operations and related tasks, ideally in retailer category management functions.
• A 4-year degree or equivalent relevant work experience.
• Willingness to travel between 30% and 50% within the United States.
• Profound understanding of relationships between retailers, manufacturers, and distributors, as well as variations in service areas and product assortments.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with strong interpersonal abilities using a consultative approach.
• Capable of engaging with clients ranging from frontline field employees to senior executives.
• Strong analytical skills to interpret usage data and metrics, translating insights into actionable plans.
• Proficiency in Google Workspace or Microsoft Office; experience with Monday.com is an advantage.
• Advanced knowledge of the Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel reporting tools; familiarity with PowerPoint and Access is preferred.
• Exceptional conflict resolution capabilities.
• Authorized to work in the United States without requiring current or future sponsorship.
• Comfortable working in controlled office environments, active retail settings, driving, using mass transit, and moving between sites.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and walk long distances while visiting various retail locations.
• Occasionally able to bend, stoop, reach, push, pull, lift, or move products/equipment.
