This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Massachusetts.
• Propel growth by driving supplier diversity initiatives through opportunity identification.
• Establish strategic relationships with customers and connect diverse suppliers to business prospects.
• Examine spending, sourcing, and supplier data to reveal growth opportunities.
• Work collaboratively with sales teams, category management, procurement, and supplier partners.
• Develop and sustain relationships with certified diverse suppliers and advocacy organizations.
• Conduct business reviews and report on supplier diversity performance to stakeholders.
• Assist with RFP responses, customer presentations, and supplier diversity reporting obligations.
• Provide education to internal teams regarding trends in supplier diversity and customer expectations.
• Maintain a pipeline of opportunities and implement strategic account plans.
• A Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain, Sales, Marketing, or a related discipline is preferred.
• 3 to 7 years of experience in supplier diversity, account management, business development, procurement, sourcing, or sales.
• Proven track record in managing customer relationships and influencing cross-functional stakeholders.
• Strong analytical abilities to interpret spending and performance data effectively.
• Exceptional communication, presentation, and relationship management skills.
• Capable of juggling multiple priorities in a fast-paced setting.
• Familiarity with supplier diversity programs and certification organizations is preferred.
• Experience collaborating with Fortune 1000 procurement organizations is preferred.
• Understanding of sourcing, procurement, and category management processes is preferred.
• Previous experience presenting to senior leaders and customer procurement teams is preferred.
• Proficient in CRM, Excel, and reporting tools is preferred.
