District Service Manager – Warranty

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.

📋 Description

• Enhance customer retention by implementing satisfaction processes associated with warranty administration, out-of-warranty compromises, field actions, and training.

• Formulate and execute business strategies to meet district objectives concerning warranty waste and customer engagement in goodwill initiatives.

• Oversee the utilization of the courtesy transportation program while aiding in the reduction of warranty waste.

• Ensure dealers adhere to service policies and procedures, as well as CSI and Goodwill/Policy guidelines.

• Guarantee that dealers implement effective processes for repeat repairs, customer management, and safe vehicle delivery.

• Assist dealers in escalating cases to TAC or Field Service Engineering.

• Occasionally engage with end customers to address compliance, warranty, and field action concerns.

• Support corporate audits, close-out meetings, and the execution of corrective actions.

• Manage Warranty Labour Rate (WLR) reviews and audits while ensuring adherence to Minimum Training Standards (MTS).

• Organize and present regular meetings to discuss district activities and performance.

• Assist with cross-functional and special initiatives as required, collaborating with the legal team on relevant issues.

• Excellent communication and leadership abilities.

• Strong analytical skills coupled with exceptional decision-making capabilities.

• Capacity to work autonomously as well as part of cross-functional teams.

• Valid driver's license.

• Bilingual proficiency (written and spoken).

• Openness to travel.

• Regular in-person interaction with dealers.

• Bachelor's degree, ideally in business or marketing.

• Must not require GM immigration sponsorship, either currently or in the future.
