District Sales Manager – Mining

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.

📋 Description

• Generate new sales opportunities and expand business, both independently and in collaboration with Distributors.

• Oversee customer business relationships within the sales territory, which includes Ontario, Quebec, Newfoundland & Labrador, New Brunswick, Nova Scotia, and Iqaluit.

• Collaborate closely with DuBois Technical Service Representatives and customer operations staff to address customer issues, install and repair application systems, and assist with chemical applications for clients.

• Report to the Mining Sector Business Director.

⛳️ Requirements

• A diploma in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or Engineering Technology is preferred.

• Over 10 years of experience in heavy industry or manufacturing.

• A valid driver’s license is required.

• Familiarity with chemical application systems is necessary.

• Capability to manage complex and large customer accounts independently, along with distributor relationships.

• Practical skills in repairing, installing, and troubleshooting application systems are essential.

• Previous sales training is mandatory.

• Excellent communication skills – able to effectively convey information to both internal and external stakeholders.

• Proficiency in MS Office applications (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, CRM).

• Understanding of programming logic for application systems is a significant advantage.

• Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.

• Willingness to travel as required.

• Capability to work outdoors year-round at customer locations.

• Strong aptitude for building relationships with customers and industry professionals.
