This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in North Dakota.
• Territory Management: Gain a deep understanding of the market potential, customer demographics, and competitive environment within the designated territory.
• Collaborate with dealerships to ensure exceptional customer satisfaction through quality interactions.
• Establish and nurture relationships with dealers to achieve shared objectives.
• Manage daily operations, strategies, and targets within the territory.
• Oversee financial resources, ensuring prudent management for both the Company and its dealers.
• Keep track of attachment ratios to prioritize growth initiatives.
• Aid in the implementation and assessment of sales and performance initiatives.
• Conduct monthly evaluations to ensure dealer adherence to the 6-Month Plan and appropriate inventory levels for market success.
• Dealer Communication and Accountability: Enhance dealer performance through regular Sales/Action Plan discussions.
• Present market share insights and competitive trends to dealers.
• Review dealer sales metrics and action plans quarterly, offering guidance for enhancements.
• Ensure dealer actions are aligned with company goals by executing Action Plan items.
• Organize sales blitzes in underperforming counties and report outcomes.
• Ensure adequate floor plan levels for effective market representation.
• Foster customer relationships by engaging in dealer events.
• Dealer Training: Facilitate training sessions to enhance dealers' product knowledge, sales skills, and customer service.
• Host district sales training sessions focusing on new products and competitive positioning.
• Accompany new sales specialists on field visits, providing orientation on products, sales processes, and customer engagement, particularly in underperforming areas.
• Develop Dealer Strategy and Programs: Ensure comprehensive dealer branch coverage for optimal market reach.
• Supervise Bobcat Specialist coverage for product expertise and sales effectiveness.
• Identify and address dealer gaps through the recruitment of new dealers.
• Support new dealers to ensure successful market integration.
• Establish and document commitments for performance enhancement and accountability.
• Communication and Development: Partner with District Parts & Service Managers, Doosan Bobcat Financial representatives, and the Corporate office to drive business success.
• Ensure effective communication and feedback across departments to support marketing and business operations.
• Conduct quarterly dealer performance assessments with DPSMs.
• Coordinate dealer credit lines with DBFS representatives, ensuring financial stability and efficiency.
• Oversee branding initiatives to maintain standards and consistent signage.
• Monitor dealer sales leads for timely follow-ups and improved lead conversion.
• A Bachelor’s Degree in management, Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field is preferred.
• Equivalent experience will be considered.
• 2-4 years of relevant sales experience with an understanding of commercial marketing.
• Ability to effectively manage a designated sales territory.
• Self-motivated with a proven history of meeting and surpassing sales goals.
• Demonstrate clear and concise verbal communication skills when engaging with team members, dealers, and customers.
• Exhibit strong written communication skills in drafting reports, emails, and other correspondence.
• Effectively communicate sales strategies and objectives to the sales team, ensuring alignment with company goals.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and present sales insights and feedback in a professional manner.
• Provide clear and prompt updates to management regarding sales performance and market trends.
• Proficient in sales management software and CRM systems.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record from the Department of Motor Vehicles.
