This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New York, +2 more states.
• Engages in promoting, selling, and securing orders from both current and potential customers through a relationship-driven sales strategy that emphasizes the benefits and value proposition.
• Showcases products to existing and prospective clients, assisting them in selecting the options that best meet their requirements.
• Oversees sales objectives, including profit and budget management.
• Establishes, nurtures, and sustains business relationships with current and prospective clients within the designated territory or market segment to maintain existing business and cultivate new opportunities.
• Conducts research to identify sources for potential customers and gathers information to assess their viability.
• Crafts clear and compelling written proposals and quotations for both current and prospective clients.
• Facilitates the swift resolution of customer issues and complaints.
• Collaborates with marketing, sales management, accounting, logistics, and technical services to coordinate sales efforts.
• Evaluates the potential of the territory/market and assesses the value of existing and potential clients to the company.
• Develops and manages a customer value plan for existing clients that highlights sales profiles, market share, and value opportunities.
• Provides management with comprehensive insights regarding customer needs, challenges, interests, competitive actions, and opportunities for new products.
• Remains updated on product applications, technical services, market conditions, competitive actions, and trends in marketing activities.
• Represents the company at trade shows and conventions as needed.
• Performs additional related duties as assigned.
• A bachelor's degree from an accredited university in Business or a related field is preferred.
• A minimum of 5 years of prior sales experience.
• Strong understanding and experience in selling high value-added products, including pricing and negotiation skills.
• Experience in selling to healthcare and pharmaceutical facilities is an advantage.
• Ability to convey technical concepts or value-added benefits to secure buy-in from diverse teams in order to meet sales targets and profitability goals.
• A proven track record of consistently meeting growth and profitability expectations.
• A collaborative team player with a natural ability to influence stakeholders both internally and externally.
• A self-motivated individual with a creative perspective for executing marketing and promotional campaigns aimed at achieving specific regional and national growth objectives.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) is required.
• Experience with SAP or CRM systems, with Salesforce being preferred.
