This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Washington.
• Take ownership of your designated territory.
• Seek out new business opportunities while enhancing existing accounts through strategic relationship development.
• Maintain 6-10 points of contact within each account to ensure maximum penetration.
• Effectively manage your calendar and territory to optimize coverage and outcomes.
• Identify and secure significant opportunities with a clear focus.
• Collaborate with customers on design initiatives and technical solutions.
• Utilize CRM and pipeline management tools to monitor and cultivate opportunities.
• Transform leads from trade shows, PEC reports, and digital channels into revenue.
• Work closely with manufacturer representatives to drive joint business development.
• Coordinate with Sales Development and Operations teams for efficient territory management.
• Participate in local and regional wire & cable, industry, and OEM shows to uphold market presence.
• A bachelor's degree in engineering, business, or a related field (or equivalent experience preferred).
• A minimum of 2-3 years of previous experience in the distribution industry and/or direct sales.
• Strong technical skills with the capability to comprehend technical concepts and deliver hands-on demonstrations of our products.
• Relevant knowledge of wire, cable, and associated products; experience with Industrial Connector products (IDC, ÖC, Epic preferred).
• Proficient computer skills and the ability to learn our business and processes.
• Demonstrated success in market research, cold calling, lead qualification, and closing sales.
• Experience with CRM and opportunity pipeline management.
• Strong negotiation abilities and forecasting skills.
