District Sales Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Ohio.

📋 Description

• Cultivate, enhance, and sustain strategic partnerships with retail and traditional aftermarket outlets within a designated territory.

• This position is an individual contributor role overseeing a multi-state territory.

• Promote products and solutions to both direct and indirect clientele.

• Develop and maintain technical expertise regarding Dana products.

• Manage key relationships with retail locations on an assigned basis, collaborating directly with the national account manager.

• Keep abreast of competitor activities and market fluctuations.

• Represent the voice of the customer within Dana and be accountable for customer metrics.

• Formulate sales strategies and objectives to meet the goals outlined in assigned KPIs.

• Drive outcomes with aftermarket clients, including retailers, distributors, technicians, service providers, and others.

• Deliver product presentations to purchasing, sales, and other customer representatives.

• Address customer inquiries regarding daily requirements.

• Collaborate with internal Dana teams (product, pricing, engineering, marketing, finance, training) to accomplish growth objectives.

• Implement marketing initiatives and new product launches as directed by leadership.

• Perform all other duties as assigned.


⛳️ Requirements

• A bachelor’s degree in Sales, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field is preferred.

• A minimum of 5 years of experience in aftermarket light vehicle sales or a comparable industry, demonstrating proven results and success in developing customer relationships and negotiation skills.

• A solid understanding of driveline products as they pertain to the light vehicle industry.

• Willingness to travel up to 75% of the time as necessary, with the capacity to work outside of traditional business hours.

• Outstanding written, verbal, and presentation abilities.
