This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Washington.
• Take ownership and expand your territory: Manage a well-established territory valued at approximately $3M while discovering opportunities to enhance customer relationships and boost market share.
• Foster Customer Partnerships: Collaborate closely with distributors, one-step dealers, and independent lumber yards to address their business requirements.
• Drive Sales Growth: Balance the maintenance of existing business with proactive outreach and the development of new opportunities.
• Represent Industry-Leading Products: Market metal roofing, wall panel systems, trims, and accessory products in residential, agricultural, and commercial sectors.
• Facilitate Product Training & Pull-Through Sales: Organize customer education and contractor training sessions while aiding contractor pull-through initiatives.
• Collaborate Across Functions: Establish strong partnerships with operations, branch leadership, estimating, and customer support teams.
• Deliver Responsive Customer Support: Handle a high volume of customer interactions and transactions in a dynamic environment.
• Assist with Brand Integration: Support customers during their transition through ongoing product and system integration efforts following recent operational changes.
• 3–5+ years of preferred sales experience.
• Background in building materials, metal roofing, construction products, or related industries is highly desirable.
• Familiarity with dealer and distribution sales channels is strongly preferred.
• Valued experience in estimating, project management, inside sales, or customer-facing construction support roles.
• Strong skills in relationship-building with a dedication to consistent customer follow-up.
• Self-motivated with the capability to prioritize, manage multiple opportunities, and work independently.
• Comfortable in a fast-paced, customer-centric sales environment.
• Exceptional communication, organization, and time management skills.
• Valid driver’s license and dependable transportation are required.
• Willingness to meet with customers regularly throughout the territory.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field is preferred.
• Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to quickly build credibility and rapport with clients.
• Proficient in computer skills, including experience with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
