This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Oregon.
• Take charge of and expand your territory: Oversee an established area worth approximately $3M while seeking opportunities to enhance customer relationships and grow market share.
• Foster Customer Partnerships: Collaborate closely with distributors, one-step dealers, and independent lumber yards to address their business requirements.
• Propel Sales Growth: Balance the retention of current business with proactive prospecting and the development of new opportunities.
• Promote Industry-Leading Products: Represent metal roofing, wall panel systems, trims, and accessory products in residential, agricultural, and commercial sectors.
• Facilitate Product Training & Pull-Through Sales: Conduct educational programs for customers and training sessions for contractors, while assisting in contractor pull-through initiatives.
• Collaborate Across Functions: Establish strong partnerships with operations, branch leadership, estimating, and customer support teams.
• Deliver Responsive Customer Support: Handle a high volume of customer interactions and transactions in a dynamic environment.
• Assist with Brand Integration: Support customers in navigating ongoing product and system integration efforts following recent operational modifications.
• Preferred 3–5+ years of sales experience.
• Strongly preferred background in building materials, metal roofing, construction products, or related industries.
• Highly preferred understanding of dealer/distribution sales channels.
• Valued experience in estimating, project management, inside sales, or customer-facing construction support roles.
• Excellent relationship-building capabilities with a focus on consistent customer follow-up.
• Self-motivated with the ability to prioritize tasks, manage multiple opportunities, and work independently.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, customer-oriented sales environment.
• Strong communication, organization, and time management skills.
• Valid driver’s license and dependable transportation.
• Capability to meet with customers regularly throughout the territory.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field is preferred.
