This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Iowa.
• Own and Expand Your Territory: Manage a well-established territory valued at approximately $4.5M while seeking opportunities to enhance customer relationships and boost market share.
• Cultivate Customer Partnerships: Collaborate closely with distributors, one-step dealers, and independent lumber yards to address their business needs.
• Propel Sales Growth: Balance the maintenance of existing business with proactive prospecting and development of new opportunities.
• Represent Industry-Leading Products: Promote metal roofing, wall panel systems, trims, and accessory products in residential, agricultural, and commercial markets.
• Facilitate Product Training and Pull-Through Sales: Implement customer education and contractor training programs while fostering contractor pull-through initiatives.
• Collaborate Across Functions: Establish strong partnerships with operations, branch leadership, estimating, and customer support teams.
• Deliver Responsive Customer Support: Handle a high volume of customer interactions and transactions in a dynamic environment.
• Assist with Brand Integration: Aid customers in navigating ongoing product and system integration initiatives following recent operational changes.
• 3 to 5+ years of sales experience preferred.
• Experience in building materials, metal roofing, construction products, or related industries is highly preferred.
• Knowledge of dealer/distribution sales channels is strongly preferred.
• Valued experience in estimating, project management, inside sales, or customer-facing construction support roles.
• Exceptional relationship-building skills with a dedication to consistent customer follow-up.
• Self-motivated individual capable of prioritizing, managing multiple opportunities, and working independently.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, customer-centric sales environment.
• Excellent communication, organization, and time management abilities.
• Valid driver’s license and dependable transportation required.
• Ability to meet with customers regularly throughout the territory.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field preferred.
• Outstanding interpersonal skills with the capability to quickly build credibility and rapport with customers.
• Strong computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
